Kathleen Guinan
Chief Executive Officer
A pioneer for social justice, Montessori education, and community organizing, Kathleen Guinan, CEO of Crossway Community, co-founded Zaccheaus Kitchen and Rachel’s Women’s Center. Kathleen helped to establish Crossway Community in 1990, as an entrepreneurial nonprofit organization working to empower families and strengthen the community. The organization has grown to integrate Montessori philosophy into a school for infants to school-aged children, an intergenerational learning center, organic gardens, and an apartment community. Kathleen’s stewardship of the Family Leadership Academy pioneered a two-generational approach to education.

A regional leader in the development and management of excellence in early childhood education and, Ann Byrne has given two decades of service guiding the direction of family-focused Montessori programming at Crossway Community. A frequent speaker and consultant to community-based organizations, Ann is a leading voice in best practice and administration of the highest quality Montessori programs.
