Parent & Baby Food Preparation
Mealtimes in the early years are about so much more than nourishment.
They are opportunities for connection, independence, coordination, confidence, and belonging within the rhythm of family life.
Join us for a warm and welcoming Parent and Baby class where we’ll explore Montessori aligned approaches to preparing meals for babies and young children. Together, we’ll look at how thoughtful changes to the environment can help children feel calm, capable, included, and connected at the table from the very beginning.
Led by our beloved NIDO Guide, May Zupancic, this gathering will offer practical ideas for creating peaceful and developmentally supportive mealtime experiences at home. We’ll explore child sized utensils, self serving, portions, food presentation, and ways to thoughtfully invite babies and toddlers into the shared experience of family meals.
As always, this class is also a space for conversation, reflection, and connection with other caregivers navigating the early years together.
Because sometimes the smallest shifts around the table can change the feeling of an entire day.
