Parent & Baby Sleep & Rhythms

If you’re a parent of a baby, chances are sleep is on your mind. A lot.

Join us for a warm and welcoming Parent and Baby class where we’ll explore one of the most common questions new parents ask: How do babies actually learn to sleep?

In a calm, beautifully prepared Montessori environment, our NIDO guide Stefanie Weber will share practical Montessori insights on infant sleep, daily rhythms, and how the environment can support rest for both baby and caregiver. Together we’ll explore simple ways to observe your baby’s cues, create predictable routines, and build healthy sleep habits without stress or pressure.

While sleep will be our starting point, this class is also a space for conversation and connection with other caregivers navigating the early months of parenthood. Questions always welcome.

Because if there’s one thing parents of babies know, it’s that everyone is trying to figure this out together.

Who

Babies from newborn to pre-walkers alongside a parent or caregiver.
Currently enrolled families and new families are warmly welcome.

What to Expect

Our time together will follow a gentle rhythm that supports both babies and caregivers:

• Arrival and gentle hellos with floor time on soft mats
• Montessori invitations for infants such as grasping materials, visual tracking, and low mirrors
• Caregiver circle with practical Montessori guidance on sleep, daily rhythms, and soothing transitions
• Songs and fingerplays that nurture early connection and language
• A short nature walk, weather permitting, to awaken the senses
• Time for questions and conversation with our guide

Why Families Love This Class

• A calm, unhurried space to connect with your baby
• Practical Montessori ideas you can use at home that same day
• Community with other caregivers navigating the same sleepless season

What to Bring

• A light blanket
• Diapers and a change of clothes for baby

Please arrive a few minutes early to get comfortable. If your baby naps, feeds, fusses, or does absolutely anything babies do during class, that’s perfectly okay. In Montessori, we follow the child.

And sometimes, the child just needs a nap.
